Our business trip has begun again! Specialists of Energosteel company conducted working visit to one of Azerbaijani mining and processing plants at the end of 2019. Our attentive readers may note that we often go on business trips to this region. Little wonder, because Energosteel company is not limited to simple business relationship meaning ‘’to sell and forget’’. The foundation of cooperation with our partners is the full participation and integration into the processes, that involve the steel grinding balls use.
Thus, the main goal of our business trip was the summing up of industrial tests. The test subjects were the steel grinding balls 40 mm in diameter from steel with unique chemical composition. Data on the use of grinding balls, produced from several steel grades (chemical composition is determined by the standards) in working environment of our clients were collected by trial and error. After that in view of the impact of every chemical element in the alloy on the technical characteristics of grinding balls, the unique steel grade had been developed by our specialists. The grinding balls from this steel grade will be most efficient.
These test outcomes have shown that earlier work done was not in vain. The decrease of specific steel grinding balls consumption has been noted, better grinding has been achieved (the content of finished product in iron ore concentrate increased by 8-9%), stability of obtaining necessary grinding quality under a planned capacity of each mill has been reached.
The plans for 2020, which include besides guaranteed supplies of high quality Energosteel production grinding balls also a number of activities, innovation and testing that will be helpful for our client to improve the grinding process without major investments, has been agreed.
