Steel alloyed with chromium
Steel alloyed with chromium — is steel with specially introduced the chromium element in definite quantities to provide the desired physical and mechanical properties.
Chromium increases the ability of the thermal hardening steels, their resistance to corrosion and oxidation, provides increased strength at elevated temperatures and improves abrasion resistance of high-carbon steels.
