The forging

The forging – is a high-temperature treatment of various metals (iron, copper and its alloys, titanium, aluminum and its alloys) heated to forging temperature.

There is own forging temperature for each metal and it depends on the physical properties (melting point, crystallization) and chemical properties (alloying elements composition).

A special forging type is cold forging, carried out without heating the deformable metal.
