A rapidly growing market. Clients in need of reliable suppliers. Competition that does not allow us to relax even for a day. It was under these conditions that we headed to Azerbaijan – not just to visit partners, but to explore new horizons and strengthen our presence where reliability and quality are highly valued.
During the trip, we managed to hold a number of productive meetings with both end users and resellers. In total, we established contact with more than a dozen key players in the local market. Some of them already had experience working with our products and expressed interest in using them further.
One of the most encouraging signals was the confirmation of the high quality of our steel balls. Clients with a broad selection of suppliers continue to retain a significant part of their volumes with us, despite pricing competition from other regions.
It is worth noting the upcoming opening of a new production complex of one of the leading market players. The capacity of this enterprise will exceed the existing one several times, and therefore opens up additional prospects for proven suppliers. It is planned to start selecting long-term partners from May. We are ready to actively participate in these negotiations.
The visit also provided valuable information on price trends, logistics costs and product specifications. This year, there has been increased interest in high-Chromium steel grinding balls in the Azerbaijani market. We are already conducting technical consultations with our raw material suppliers to confirm the possibility of producing the products.
Despite intense competition – primarily from Asian suppliers – we see stable demand for products that meet European quality standards. This is especially true for clients who value long-term reliability and compliance with specifications over short-term cost savings.
Overall, the visit to Azerbaijan demonstrated that the Ukrainian manufacturer has every chance to strengthen its position in this market. The key to success lies in flexibility, responsiveness, and careful attention to customer needs.
