In the period of constant development of the industry, the balance between economic interests and environmental sustainability becomes extremely important. Consumers increasingly demand from enterprises a responsible attitude towards the environment, the adoption of measures to reduce the carbon footprint and ensure compliance with high environmental standards. In this context, one of the European steps towards environmental responsibility is СВАМ (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism ).
The primary goal of CBAM is to encourage companies outside the EU to reduce carbon emissions and adapt their production processes to high environmental standards. The CBAM mechanism involves the implementation of taxes on the import of goods whose production is carbon intensive.
As the “Energosteel” plant produces products and exports them to EU countries, we did not stand aside and conducted an assessment of greenhouse gases during the production of steel grinding balls. We can boldly state: the results of the study proved that the detected emissions of greenhouse gases are within admissible ranges and meet all environmental safety standards. This is a confirmation of our commitment to the principles of environmental responsibility and the desire to preserve ecologically stable future.
