- Production of steel grinding media. Steel grinding media are steel balls with a diameter of 20 mm to 120 mm and the 2-nd, 3-rd and 4-th hardness groups. This range present on Ukrainian market (DSTU 3499-97). Grinding balls produced by helical rolled round billet. Each of the Ukrainian grinding media producers covers only 2-4 diameter and two or three hardness groups of steel grinding balls in their production. They have fairly narrow specialization in the steel grinding balls production. They don’t cover the entire range of steel grinding balls.
