No se tienen en cuenta factores como los par\u00e1metros geom\u00e9tricos (dise\u00f1o) del molino de bolas ni la posibilidad de modificar los par\u00e1metros tecnol\u00f3gicos del proceso productivo (cantidad de material alimentado al molino, modos densos, etc.). Estos factores influyen de manera significativa en el proceso de molienda, en el comportamiento de las bolas de molienda y en la formaci\u00f3n de tensiones internas en las bolas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">Los especialistas de Energosteel realizan constantemente investigaciones orientadas a la mejora de la producci\u00f3n. En esta publicaci\u00f3n analizaremos la intensidad de las tensiones internas en funci\u00f3n del grado de acero del que est\u00e1n fabricadas las bolas de molienda de acero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">Para el an\u00e1lisis se seleccion\u00f3 el acero (an\u00e1logo Gr.2), que es ideal para la producci\u00f3n de bolas de acero de alta dureza con di\u00e1metros de 25\u201380 mm, es decir, bolas de molienda que trabajan en modo de cascada o mixto. Sin embargo, el uso de este grado de acero no siempre es adecuado para la producci\u00f3n de bolas de acero con di\u00e1metros de 90\u2013125 mm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">\u00bfCu\u00e1l es el secreto? Como se muestra en la Figura 1, el acero Gr.2 tiene un punto cr\u00edtico Mh: el inicio de la transformaci\u00f3n martens\u00edtica a 200 \u00b0C; a 100 \u00b0C la transformaci\u00f3n solo alcanza el 50%, y \u00fanicamente a 20 \u00b0C se completa por completo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/energosteel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/20210923_angl.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Diagrama termocin\u00e9tico isot\u00e9rmico de la descomposici\u00f3n de la austenita subenfriada<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">Durante el funcionamiento en el molino, las bolas est\u00e1n sometidas a cargas de impacto. El impacto puntual de la superficie de una bola contra otra bola o contra el blindaje genera concentradores de tensi\u00f3n en la capa superficial en las zonas de impacto. Esto se debe a las transformaciones estructurales del acero que se producen a nivel micro. Dado que en el punto de impacto la temperatura alcanza los 200 \u00b0C o m\u00e1s, los \u00e1tomos se desplazan en la red cristalina, acompa\u00f1ados de una determinada energ\u00eda. La naturaleza c\u00edclica de estos impactos provoca la acumulaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, la aparici\u00f3n de microfisuras y, en determinado momento, el desprendimiento de la capa superficial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">De lo anterior se desprende que las bolas de 90\u2013125 mm fabricadas con el acero analizado son adecuadas para cargas de impacto c\u00edclicas solo si existe suficiente material a triturar que minimice los impactos directos entre bolas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">Esto se logra reduciendo la carga del molino con bolas de molienda, aumentando el rendimiento del molino o modificando el dise\u00f1o del blindaje.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">Tampoco se recomienda utilizar este tipo de bolas de molienda en molinos de bolas cuyo di\u00e1metro sea aproximadamente igual a su longitud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">En el caso de bolas con di\u00e1metros de 25\u201380 mm fabricadas con el grado de acero mencionado, que trabajan en modo mixto o en cascada (abrasivo), no se observan desprendimientos caracter\u00edsticos, ya que no reciben ni acumulan energ\u00eda excesiva.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 20px;\" align=\"justify\">En conclusi\u00f3n, podemos afirmar con seguridad que la selecci\u00f3n de bolas de molienda es un proceso bastante complejo y que requiere tiempo, as\u00ed como conocimientos y experiencia espec\u00edficos.
