Lately there was an increase in instances of procurement of grinding balls of unknown origin that do not have necessary quality certificates. There were also occurrences when supplied product does have support documentation but it is falsified. As a rule, the balls in question are of very poor quality. Using those balls leads to the following consequences:

Otherwise, nobody could guarantee you a proper operation of grinding media, and no one would recover your expenses. And it is the main reason why you always should make a purchase from a reliable supplier (manufacturer or its official distributor).

While purchasing grinding balls you must demand quality certificates issued by the manufacturer. Try to avoid purchasing balls from resellers, as a rule, manufacturers prefer to use direct selling concept. While making a purchase, check quality certification. Verify which regulatory documents (GOSTs, DSTU etc.) are being referenced in certificates.
Also, you can always contact the manufacturer as specified in support documentation for verification of authenticity. You can acquire from the manufacturer following information by certificate number: was that batch of product shipped to this company, precise physicochemical characteristics of grinding media etc.
