Roller-ring mills
Roller-ring mills – mills where the material grinding occurs due to simultaneous crushing and abrasion. The material crushed between a stationary ring and fast-rotating rollers. Fast-rotating rollers pivotally suspend to a cross, fixed on a vertical shaft.During shaft rotation, the rollers pressed to the fixed ring work surface by the centrifugal force of inertia, rotate around their axis and crush material. Material fed to the mill by the feeder. The ground material blown to the air separator by the air stream (or inert gases) coming from the collector. The coarse fraction returns from separator to the mill for re-grinding, and a thin fraction (finished product) collect in the cyclones. The purified gas returns from the cyclones to the mill by a fan.
