Energosteel Increased Steel Grinding Balls Exports by 79% in 2025
30.03.2026
Energosteel regularly exports steel grinding balls to European Union countries in compliance with the requirements of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
CBAM is a new regulatory instrument of the European Union aimed at reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring a level playing field for manufacturers. The mechanism requires mandatory declaration of the carbon footprint of products imported into the EU.
Given its active export operations and cooperation with European partners, Energosteel has conducted a preliminary assessment of greenhouse gas emissions generated during the production of steel grinding balls. The results confirmed that the production complies with established environmental standards and can be integrated into the new CBAM reporting system.
The first product shipments under CBAM reporting conditions marked an important step in the company’s international development and confirmed Energosteel’s readiness to operate in line with modern European environmental responsibility standards.
The company will continue to pay special attention to improving the environmental efficiency of its production, ensuring transparency in reporting, and developing partnerships with clients in the European market.
