Energosteel simplifies imports to the EU through its own importing company
14.04.2026
From April 8 to 11, the Energosteel team, together with partner Proses Engineering Inc., participated in the annual international exhibition Mining Turkey (Maden Turkey) 2026 — one of the key events in the mining industry in the region. These were extremely intensive days for us: daily meetings, active negotiations, and deep immersion in current market trends.
The exhibition became an effective platform for communication with partners, clients, and market participants from different countries. We discussed actual issues related to grinding ball supply, the competitive landscape, and pricing benchmarks, as well as received valuable feedback on product quality and customer expectations.
During the meetings, we repeatedly received confirmation that the market is becoming more demanding in terms of quality. This once again validates our focus on technological development and quality control.
Significant attention was paid to the competitive environment. In particular, it was noted that Chinese manufacturers maintain strong positions due to pricing and supply scale; local markets, including Turkey, actively protect domestic steel ball producers through regulatory mechanisms and import restrictions.
One of the important topics was environmental regulation, particularly the CBAM mechanism. Market participants assess its impact differently, but it is already clear that it is reshaping approaches to production and investments in green technologies.
For us, one of the key outcomes of the exhibition was new connections and potential partnerships. We held negotiations regarding dealership cooperation, discussed opportunities to enter new enterprises, and established valuable contacts for further business development.
Mining Turkey 2026 confirmed that the grinding ball market remains dynamic and competitive, with quality, flexibility, and technological capability being the key success factors. Energosteel continues to move forward, investing in development and expansion while strengthening its position in international markets. We thank all partners for the open dialogue and are confident that these meetings will soon turn into new joint projects.
